Way to Go Ted Cruz
The race for the GOP nomination for U.S. Senate in Texas is one I’ve been paying attention to for quite some time. Tonight, Ted Cruz was able to get enough votes to force a July 31st runoff against Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst. I think both would be good senators. However, in a world where the U.S.’s rising debt and spending is one of our biggest problems, I’m very happy Cruz was able to take it to a runoff.
The hard work has just begun. Good luck Ted! If I still lived in Texas you’d have my vote.
